I was in Iceland recently to visit a friend and we went to a music festival in his home town. It's a small festival called Heimaskagi, where Icelandic bands play in people's living rooms, local factories and other venues across the town. In this clip the Icelandic musician Mugison is playing, the man on the left in the Scandinavian jumper is the president of Iceland. Iceland must be one of the few countries where the president can mingle with people without security. He's very friendly and approachable.

Take a look, it's really quite good, the built-in mic on my camera does not do his music justice. The whole album was recorded with a simple two track soundcard according to Wikipedia.
